Centenary year Mass

St. Anthony’s launched into the Centenary Year with a spectacular ‘Thanksgiving Mass’ on the 3rd July 2010.

The School Sports Day is an annual event but being the Centenary Year, it was grand and colourful. “Biodiversity’ was the theme of the Opening Ceremony which turned to be enthralling and marvellous.

The items of each Class were also marked with the same theme, which made an impact on the parents and the wider community.

To keep that Centenary spirit on the move various Competitions were outlined. In order to create an awareness of our Environment and Mother Earth, ‘Biodiversity’ was the umbrella under which the Competitions were held. The first Competition was a Group Dance participated by all the Presentation Schools in Chennai City. In the Junior category, St. Aloysius, Vepery won the First place, Sacred Heart Matriculation, Church Park, won the second place and the Third place was won by St. Columban’s, George Town.
